The Performing Arts Department (PAD) offers a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, as well as courses in Dance and Film. As part of the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum, PAD courses challenge students to be excellent critical and creative communicators.  Students become actively involved onstage, backstage, front-of-house and as members of the audience. Performances take place regularly in the Harry Hope Theatre, Shafer Auditorium, in other on-campus spaces and on tour in places such as New York City and London.  The Performing Arts Department is fully committed to providing a welcoming, engaging, inspiring and enlightening program.  For information on the individual programs of Music and Theatre, please click on "Areas of Study".
