Transfer SOAR (Student Orientation, Advisement & Registration) is a one-day orientation program in the summer designed to introduce all new transfer students to life at Eastern while offering the opportunity to meet other incoming transfer students, current student leaders, faculty, and staff. This orientation session will promote student involvement and academic success by introducing important information and resources available on campus and in the Eastern community.
Transfer SOAR sessions for incoming transfer students will be held on the following dates in the summer of 2013:
Monday, June 10 & Tuesday, June 11
Monday, July 29 & Tuesday, July 30
Transfer students with less than 60 completed credits at the time of entry to Eastern will participate in SOAR, and the Fall Warrior Welcome program in August before begining the fall semester. An orientation fee of $100 will be added to your tuition bill. If you are a student transfering 60 credits or more, a transfer Compact student or a Re-Admit student, you are not required to attend SOAR and will be contacted my the Advisement Center to register for courses.
