Supernova and Comet are two kinetic sculptures designed and created by Drew Klotze of Weston, Connecticut.  Klotze designs sculptures that are acutely responsive to wind because of his deep knowledge of the aerodynamics of flight.  It is his sense of form, line, pattern and movement that allows the sculptures to come to life.  Each sculpture moves as though having a conversation in the wind.  Supernova and Comet were purchased as One Percent for Art pieces for the Gelsi-Young Administration and Admissions buildings, respectively.
