Since I had last spoken to all of you we were a day away from our first game of the season. We are now 3 games in and despite a close loss to Stevens Tech in the season opener we are sitting at 2-1 on the season so far. We battled Stevens really hard throughout the entire game and the last few minutes of the fourth quarter handed us a loss. Although the disappointing loss we knew we played hard and stuck around with a very good team. It was a good judge of talent and character foreshadowing the rest of the season.
A few days later we took a Gordon College also at home. We registered our first win on the season battling back and forth with them. We eventually pulled away and was no turning back from there. Last Wednesday, we traveled to Massachusetts to take on Babson College. We got to wear our new jerseys for the second time which we were all pumped about but more importantly we were excited about the intensity of the game and watching the away numbers on the scoreboard rise. We registered nine different scorers with also a very strong defensive performance. This really is a team which will turn a lot of heads this season.
