The Eastern Chapter of the State University Organization of Administrative Faculty (SUOAF) has raised and donated $800 to the Windham No-Freeze Hospitatlity Center. See the following article on the University Relations News Flash for details.
The Eastern Excutive Board Minutes from October 19, 2012 are located at the following link. These minutes include the election of the 2012-2014 Eastern Executive Board as the slate of officers ran unopposed.
There will be a Eastern Chapter Social on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 starting at 4:30 p.m. at The Harp on Church in Willimantic, CT. RSVPs are not necessary for this event...just come on by if your schedule allows. Free food and drink will be provided.
This is a non-sanctioned university event. The start time is dependent on your work schedule ending time.
Attached are the minutes from the Eastern SUOAF Chapter meeting which was held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012. The minutes are marked draft until they are approved the October executive board meeting.
The Eastern Chapter of SUOAF will hold a meeting on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. in the Student Center Theatre. Local President Jim LoMonaco will be present to give membership updates. We will also be taking nominations for our chapter officers for the next two years during this meeting (President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Trustee). The election will occur in October.
A full agenda will be forthcoming.
Due to the impending snow that we could receive tomorrow, a decision was made to postpone the Leap Year Gathering Event one week to Wednesday, March 7, 2012. If there is any change in your RSVP for this event, we ask that you contact Eric Germain at germaine@easternct.edu by this Friday at the latest.
We hope we will still be able to see you there next Wednesday.
The Social Committee of the Eastern Chapter of SUOAF will be hosting a Leap Year Gathering. When? On February 29 of course! Where? Main Street Cafe starting at 4:30 p.m. Hors D'Oeuvres will be served. RSVP by February 21, 2012 to Angelo Simoni at simonia@easternct.edu to join in on the fun!
