Forum on Sustainability and Jobs at Eastern

Zarnetske_Robert_160x200bio.jpgWillimantic, Conn. - Robert Zarnetske, the Special New England Administrator for the U.S. General Service Administration (GSA), will present "White House Sustainability Forum: Sustainability and Jobs in Eastern Connecticut" at 1 p.m. on Dec. 2 in Science Building Room 215. The public is invited. Admission is free.

Zarnetske graduated from Eastern in 1987. During his presentation, he will inform Eastern students and community members about new federal sustainability policies and the construction of clean energy communities.
 
GSA is the federal government's property manager, with more than 10,000 facilities worldwide and nearly 500 in New England.  In the past few years, GSA has been keenly focused on renewable energy and has completed a number of innovative projects in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire.
