I would like to invite all of your interested undergraduates to attend the Health Professions Conference at the University of Connecticut campus in Storrs, CT on March 2, 2012 from 10 am to 2 pm. The conference brings together representatives from eight medical schools, one dental school, two DO schools, five PA programs, two MPH programs, a PT and OT program, an MBA program in Health Care, a podiatry school, and other health care programs. This conference is designed for students interested in pursing a graduate program in health care to have the opportunity to meet with a wide range of representatives from those programs. There is no cost to students to attend and only requires their registration for the conference at http://uconnpremed.com. The conference also includes oral presentations by programs as well as a plenary presentation by selected program representatives and an opportunity for students to ask questions. Parking is available nearby ($5 per day) as are several options for food. Please contact me if you or your students have any questions. I look forward to their participation.
