Q. How do I report a problem I’m experiencing in a classroom?

Q. What are your operating hours?
A. Monday –Thursday 8am – 9:30pm. Friday 8am – 4:30pm

Q. Where are you located on campus?
A. 1st Floor of the Communication Building, Rm. 125.

Q. I need parking signs for an event.

Q. Can I connect portable devices to the University’s fixed projection systems.
A. Each podium is equipped with a VGA/Audio cable for connecting external equipment to the system. Most podiums also now have an HDMI (male) cable. Users with portable devices such as Mac computers, iPads and mobile devices must provide their own adaptor.

Q. Can Media Services convert DVD’s to a file format for faculty to upload to a BlackBoard course site:

A: Due to copyright laws, Media Services cannot convert entire, commercial DVD videos (such as movies, documentaries…) to files for uploading to BlackBoard unless the requestor has written permission from the distributor of the title. Short clips can be converted as long as it represents no more that 10% of the complete title. Faculty can contact the Center for Instructional Technology for assistance with that.
