The Financial Aid Office at Eastern Connecticut State University's purpose is to assist parents and students who might not otherwise be able to meet their educational expenses. The staff in the Financial Aid Office is available to assist students, both current and prospective, in determining their eligibility for available financial aid.

Due to changes in Federal Regulations, Eastern Connecticut State University is changing its process of verifying Financial Aid applications for the 2012/2013 academic year. We will no longer be
accepting copies of signed tax returns in the verification process. Therefore, Eastern is strongly encouraging students and families to utilize the IRS Data Retrieval Tool while filling out their Fafsa.
If your FAFSA is selected for verification, and you don't use the IRS Data Retrieval option or you changed the IRS data, you will be required to request a tax transcript from the IRS and submit it to the Office of Financial Aid instead of supplying federal tax returns as has been past practice.
College Goal Sunday is for students or potential students to receive help filling out the FAFSA for the 2012 - 2013 aid year. Please register to join us at Eastern's Webb Hall room 410, on Sunday January 29th where the Financial Aid staff will be at your assistance.
