Welcome to Eastern's Web Developer Resource page.

This page consist of groups of links to all type of Web Development resources. If you are looking for a tool or a tutorial, guidance or verification, free software or a web browser or just about anything else, you have come to the right place.

The first resource is Wink. Wink is freeware that looks and works very similarly to Macromedia Captivate™. Using Wink, you can create video tutorials in Flash format. Wink is a "screen recorder" that captures your screen, including mouse actions, and also provides you with the opportunity to annotate the screenshots. It is great to create video tutorials or how-to's, etc. Wink creates a Flash movie file from your screen capture. I would recommend you download and install it and experiment with it. Think of ways you might be able to use it within your website or within WebCT.

The second resource is Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise. Office 2007 provide the ability to create PDF format versions of most Office documents.  It also provides a simple but effective tool for editing images, Microsoft Office Picture Manager, which can be found inside Microsoft Office Tools. Picture Manager will allow you to edit, remove "red-eye" as well as compress the image for use on the web.

If you don't see what you are looking for here, please contact the WWW Project at x5-5793 and ask for it.
