The Eastern Grants Office assists
faculty and staff in developing grant proposals and provides
information involving all aspects of the funding process.
Housed within the Office of Institutional Advancement,
the Grants Office is available to help individuals and
institutional administrators by
• Writing, reviewing and editing drafts of proposals
and reports
• Developing and reviewing a project’s budget
• Communicating current and pending funding opportunities
• Researching and disseminating appropriate public
and private funding sources
• Locating and processing the appropriate paper
and electronic forms for submission
• Obtaining institutional approvals and submitting
proposals electronically
• Registering users and providing training on using
electronic submissions systems
• Maintaining updated information on federal regulations
and research compliance policies
