Golf cart services are provided the day of Commencement to assist people in getting from one place to another.There will be two hearing impaired interpreters at the Commencement Ceremony.
All persons with state handicap parking passes will be directed by campus police to park in the Sports Center Lot. This is the lot closest to the Geissler Gymnasium and the Windham Vocational-Technical School Field. If this lot is full, an officer in the lot will direct them to the next closest area to the ceremony. The officer will then send out a golf cart to bring them to the ceremony so they do not have to walk. If the Sports Center Lot is still too far for them to walk, tell a nearby officer and he or she will arrange a golf cart for them.
If a relative or friend in a wheelchair will be attending Commencement, please call Academic Affairs at 860-465-0656 so that special seating can be arranged in the case of inclement weather.
