Q. When does the Graduate Commencement take place?
A. The Graduate Commencement will take place at 11:00 a.m. May 18, 2008.Q. What time does Graduation start?
A. The procession begins at 9:45 a.m. SHARP!Q. Where can I park?
A. Parking is available in the Parking Garage and various lots across campus. You can also park off-campus at the Baseball Field. Shuttle buses will run regularly to transfer to and from the ball field parking lot. Please consult the Campus Map for the location of all parking areas. Please note that Lot M (“Goddard and Media”) is for use by guests with special needs.
Q. What time does Graduation end?
A. Graduation is usually 2 to 2 ½ hours. It should be over between 1:30 p.m. Guests should allow for an extra half-hour to get off-campus afterward.Q. Where and what time is the Continental Breakfast?
A. The Continental Breakfast, for full-time undergraduates, graduates and their guests, is between 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.. There are two locations; near the parking garage and at the Library entrance plaza.Q. Are there extra tickets?
A. Unfortunately, no. Each graduate was allowed 2 tickets and 6 invitations. Lost tickets cannot be replaced.
Tickets are not needed if graduation is outside, and everyone is welcome.
HOWEVER, if graduation is inside, tickets are REQUIRED. Guests without tickets will be directed to the Student Center and other locations on campus to view Graduation by live broadcast if it rains.Q. What time should people be seated?
A. Graduating students pick up their name cards beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Registrar's Office in Wood Support Services.
