bill nyeThe Arts and Lecture series continues on Oct. 10 with a visit by ocean explorer Robert Ballard at
7 p.m. in the Betty Tipton Room.

On Oct. 10, ocean explorer Robert Ballard will present the topic, “Adventures in Deep Sea Exploration: Living the Dream,” at 7 p.m. in the Betty Tipton Room of the new Student Center. Ballard is best known for his historic discoveries of the wrecks of the R.M.S. Titanic, the battleship Bismarck, the USS Yorktown, and John F. Kennedy’s PT-109. The recipient of numerous awards and honorary medals, Ballard is among the most accomplished of the world’s deep-sea explorers. He founded the Institute for Exploration and pioneered distance learning in classrooms around the world with his JASON Project, an award-winning educational program.
