On Nov. 27, the Eroica Trio, one of the most sought-after trios in the world, will perform at
7 p.m. in Shafer Auditorium. One critic says the Grammy-nominated group “thrills audiences with flawless technical virtuosity, irresistible enthusiasm, and sensual elegance.” Known for electrifying the concert stage with their performances of depth and precision, the ensemble won the prestigious 1991 Naumburg Award, which resulted in a highly successful Lincoln Center debut. They have since toured the United States, Europe, and Asia. Celebrating their 20th anniversary during their 2007-2008 concert tour, the Eroica Trio is “on the vanguard of a new generation of artists who are changing the face of classical music.”
