Move-In at Eastern: Smooth Sailing |
“Everything went smoothly” for the 2,527 students who moved into Eastern residence halls last weekend, according to the Office of Housing and Residential Life. This is the highest number of students living on campus in Eastern’s history. Students were introduced to the University’s two newest residence halls—SRV 2 and 3—which complete the South Residential Village. These six- and seven-story buildings feature apartment-style living and all the modern amenities, and are designated for upperclassmen. Eastern’s Office of Alumni Affairs, along with a team of upperclassmen/women, was on hand to greet the new students and their parents.
