Eastern Goes West!

Eastern alumni living in California had the opportunity to network with each other and learn more about the many exciting happenings at their alma mater during three receptions held in March in Malibu, San Diego, and San Francisco. The Office of Institutional Advancement coordinated the events. On March 11, President and Mrs. Michael Pernal joined representatives of the CSU System, officers of the ECSU Foundation, and Eastern alumni as guests at the Malibu, CA, residence of television industry veterans and special friends of the University, Susan and Kent McCray. A second reception was held at the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina on March 14, followed by a dinner party in San Francisco on March 16 for Bay Area alumni.
“The receptions exceeded our expectations,” said Ken DeLisa, vice president for institutional advancement. "It was wonferful to update alumni on the fabulous things happening on campus, and hear of the success alumni are experiencing."
