Center for Clean Air Policy
The Center for Clean Air Policy seeks to promote and implement innovative solutions to major environmental and energy problems, which balance both environmental and economic interests. Through efforts at the state, federal, and international levels, the Center emphasizes the need for cost-effective, pragmatic, and comprehensive long-term solutions.
Cities for Climate Protection
CCP is a campaign of the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI). CCP works with local governments to develop a strategic agenda to reduce global warming and air pollution emissions.
Clean Air-Cool Planet (CA-CP)
CA-CP partners with campuses, communities, and companies throughout the Northeast to help reduce their carbon emissions. CA-CP also works to build support for the implementation and strengthening of the New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers' regional Climate Change Action Plan.
Clean Energy Group
CEG works with engineers, policy analysts and economists, and other energy consultants to provide information, advocacy and analysis to develop market opportunities for clean energy and increase the use of cleaner energy technologies, such as fuel cells and solar, in newly restructured energy markets.
Clean Energy States Alliance
The Alliance promotes renewable energy and clean energy technology by improving public and private investment strategies. The group provides information and technical services to the twelve states that have established clean energy funds to build and expand clean energy markets in the United States.
Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies (CERES)
CERES encourages corporate environmental responsibility by providing a forum for exchange between corporations, activists and socially responsible investors on corporations' environmental and social practices. CERES is working with state officials on shareholder resolutions addressing power generation issues and liabilities with major power producers.
Connecticut Climate Coalition
The Connecticut Climate Coalition is a coordinated coalition of over 65 organizations, whose memberships represent over 500,000 CT residents. This broad-based coalition, which includes medical associations, teachers' organizations, science organizations, public health groups, faith-based entities and environmental organizations, has come together in support for a platform of climate policies called the 10 Action Principles.
Connecticut Clean Energy Fund
The Clean Energy Fund invests in enterprises and other initiatives that promote and develop sustainable markets for energy from renewables and fuel cells that will benefit the ratepayers of Connecticut.
Connecticut Climate Change
In 2003, nearly 100 organizations collaborated to develop a set of recommendations for reducing Connecticut’s greenhouse gas emissions. The culmination of those efforts is an action plan called “Connecticut Climate Change Stakeholders Dialog: Recommendations to the Governor's Steering Committee.” This site contains information about climate change, the initiatives which comprise the plan, news, and events.
ConnecticutGlobalFuelCellCenter (CGFCC)
The CGFCC is a partnership between the UConn School of Engineering, Connecticut Innovations, Inc., and Connecticut industry. The CGFCC serves as a focal point for fuel cell education, development and deployment. The website provides information about the CGFCC, the research done by the Center, and the CGFCC’s educational outreach program.

Connecticut Fund for the Environment (CFE)

Northeast Recycling Council
Northeast Recycling Council works to leverage the strengths and resources of its member states to advance an environmentally sustainable economy in the Northeast by promoting source reduction, recycling, and the purchasing of environmentally preferable products and services.
Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management
NESCAUM is comprised of air quality officials from eight Northeast states. NESCAUM's purpose is to exchange technical information, and to promote cooperation and coordination of technical and policy issues regarding air quality control among the member states.

In an effort to identify why the Northeastern US has some of the worst air quality in the country, NOAA's largest research vessel, along with the Department of Energy's Gulfstream research aircraft, will monitor air pollutants and their transport in the region this summer.

Sierra Club Connecticut
The Connecticut Chapter is part of the national Sierra Club's Challenge to Sprawl campaign, which works to build citizen involvement in campaigns across the country on the issue of sprawl and transportation issues, including reducing vehicle-miles-traveled. Sierra Club has produced a number of articles and reports on urban sprawl and transportation.

World Resources Institute
The Climate Northeast partnership, a project of WRI, builds strategies for companies to thrive in a carbon-constrained economy. Partners develop greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, share energy management practices and purchase green power. These corporate actions shape multi-sectoral policy approaches for a safe climate and sound business future in the Northeast.
