• Michigan State University’s Committee for a Sustainable Campus seeks to educate the MSU community about its environmental impact, conserve natural resources for future generations, and establish MSU as working for creating a sustainable community. One area the Committee focuses on is energy conservation. Among other programs, the Committee developed an ENERGY STAR® Back-to-School Checklist that promotes energy smart shopping among students. • Tulane University Office of Environmental Affairs oversees several programs in the category of energy conservation in an effort to reduce GHG emissions. Chief among these programs are the “Ecolympics,” in which residence halls compete to be the most energy efficient.
