The Sector Strategies point-of-contact is working with College and University Sector Partners to develop sector-specific approaches to assist in advancing the use of environmental management systems, reduce regulatory performance barriers, and measure environmental progress.
• CT Recycles is provided by the CT DEP and contains information on what can be recycled and where, state regulations concerning proper recycling procedures, and recommendations for specific types of companies and organizations.

The Bureau of Waste Management’s website contains more information about the Bureaus and waste disposal in CT.• The Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority (CRRA) is a statewide solid waste management authority created by the General Assembly to implement solid waste recycling and resources recovery systems throughout CT. The CRRA’s site provides information about the CRRA, what it does, its recycling program, and its educational program for teachers.
• The CT Valley Worm Farm is New England’s largest worm grower and supplier. They sell worms for fishing bait, but also have a vermicomposting program. This site includes information on vermicomposting for homes, schools, and commercial composters.
