• EPA's Sector Strategies Program seeks industry-wide environmental gains through innovative actions taken with a number of manufacturing and service sectors. • The Forest Stewardship Program in CT offers private forest owners information, education, and technical assistance in managing their forestland. The site provides basic information about the program and forest stewardship as well as contact information so individuals can get more details.
• The New England Wild Flower Society promotes conservation of North American native plants through education, research, horticulture, habitat preservation, and advocacy. This site contains information on the Society, conservation, and plants native to New England (along with those that are not). The Connecticut Botanical Society provides similar information, but more specifically in regards to gardening with species native to CT.
