The mission of the Division of Student Affairs is to promote academic and personal achievement by providing a safe and enriching co-curricular environment that maximizes student learning, development, and engagement.

Counseling and Psychological Services
The services of Counseling and Psychological Services are designed to help students mature and work toward obtaining more fulfilling educational, vocational, and professional lives by providing clinical intervention, information, support and/or consultation.

Financial Aid
To assist students financially in achieving their educational goals and to support the personal growth and development of individual students of all races and backgrounds thus meeting the University’s enrollment objectives including raising the academic profile.

Health Services
The mission of the Health Services is to promote the lifelong health and well being of Eastern’s students through the provision of caring, accessible, comprehensive and cost-effective primary health care and educational outreach.

Student Center and Student Activities
The mission of the Student Center and Student Activities Office is to provide an environment where all people feel welcome, and where diverse populations and divergent viewpoints are respected. The Student Center provides services, facilities, and educational, cultural and recreation programs that serve to integrate knowledge gained in the classroom with actual practice.

Housing and Residential Life
The mission of Housing and Residential Life is to create a safe living environment in which students will combine classroom knowledge with a residential living/learning experience.

Office of Alcohol and Other Drugs Support Services
The Office of Alcohol and Other Drug Support Services provides information, outreach, assessment and referral services to Eastern students regarding drug and alcohol use, abuse, and prevention issues.

Office of Career Services
The mission of the Office of Career Services is to assist students in developing, evaluating and effectively initiating and implementing career objectives. This mission is met through a variety of programs and services.

Office of Judicial Affairs
The mission of the Office of Judicial Affairs is to ensure fair and consistent enforcement of the student disciplinary system outlined in the Student Rights and Responsibilities and Judicial Procedures section of the Student Handbook.  The Office of Judicial Affairs assists students in their personal and academic development by encouraging responsibility and integrity in all aspects of student behavior.

Office of AccessAbility Services
The Office of AccessAbility Services is committed to the goal of achieving equal education opportunities and full participation for individuals with disabilities. We strive to improve access for students by removing existing barriers that are physical, programmatic and attitudinal as well as the prevention of the erection of new barriers.

Intercultural Center
Our mission is to provide services and support to a diverse student population and faculty, regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, gender, age, religion, race or social class, while promoting a standard of tolerance and responsible self conduct in a psychologically supportive and culturally affirming environment.

Women’s Center
The Women’s Center provides a safe and relaxed atmosphere with a focus on the enhancement and enrichment of women’s lives both individually and collectively, regardless of ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, gender, age, religion, race or social class.
