Eastern's Blackboard Support Team offers a multitude of communication channels to assist you in resolving different Blackboard problems. Getting the best possible support for Blackboard will depend on matching the problem with the available support channels. Eastern's Blackboard Support Team provides the following resources for support:

Getting Started
The Getting Started guide contains tutorials and training material that we use for our training sessions. We hope you can make time to sign up for one, but if not, you can get most of the information online. You can find the guide on your my blackboard page inside Vista. If you don't see it, contact us at webctsupport@easternct.edu

Live Chat with Eastern's Blackboard Support Staff
Any time you see the big question mark in red you can click on it to initate a live chat with a Blackboard support staff member at Eastern. If the question mark is grey, then no staff member is available, but you can still click it to send an email.

Blackboard Support Request Form
Please use this form whenever you need to contact someone for support.

Blackboard Knowledge Base
The Blackboard Knowledge Base enables you to search for answers to most routine questions.

Personal Contact (Phone, Walk-In)
Personal contact is available to you via the Blackboard support staff located in CIT. You are invited to call us at 1-860-465-5793, or just walk in (LIB 420). However, if you reach voicemail, we suggest using email rather than leaving a voicemail message. This will ensure that your message gets the attention it deserves regardless of who may be out of the office at that time. If you walk in, ask for David Oyanadel, Mike Palumbo, or Kevin Gill.

Eastern's Blackboard Support Team is committed to helping you and your students to have a good Blackboard experience. Please contact us with suggestions on how we can improve our service.
