The ECSU Foundation Board of Directors is volunteer staffed and assists the university by ecouraging community and business leaders to get involved in the life of the university. The board members provide important philanthropic support and set the pace for volunteerism on campus.

In addition, the annual Fun*Ding event raises in excess of $100,000 in scholarship dollars for qualified students and supporters from the corporate community are encouraged to participate by serving on the committee to help generate additional sponsors. The Golf Tournament, held each spring at Lake of Isles Members Only Course, generated over $70,000 in 2006 for the intercollegiate athletic department and provides additional volunteer opportunities for alumni as well as corporate supporters.
