Giving to Eastern Connecticut State University through the
ECSU Foundation may be done in a number of ways. The simplest is an outright
gift of cash. You may also want to consider a gift of appreciated securities,
real estate, a life insurance policy, or a testimonial gift through your
will. We also welcome in-kind donations of books and other collections.
The Foundation's Gift Acceptance Committee will consider all in-kind donations.
Another way to expand the impact of a contribution is through matching gift
programs offered by many corporations.
For larger gifts, certain trust arrangements can be helpful. A trust
can make it possible for you to receive increased income and obtain a
significant tax deduction while making a meaningful gift to Eastern. The
gift can be presented outright, over a period of years, or by bequest.
