Compacting
-

For students who already have competency in a given lesson, activity or
subject, and pass a test or adequately complete an alternative form of
assessment before the concept is discussed in class, some type of replacement
material is provided to work on instead of covering things they already
know. Activities that expand or enrich the subject should be provided.
