"The ERIC Clearinghouse on Teaching and Teacher Education, one of sixteen ERIC Clearinghouses,

information in the subject areas of teaching; teacher education; and health, physical education,
recreation, and dance (HPERD); and produces special publications on current research, programs,

Urban Education Web
"ERIC/CUE's areas of concern include these:  the education of urban students; the education of African Americans, Hispanic Americans (excluding Mexican Americans, who are in the domain of another ERIC clearinghouse), Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders, and other minority ethnic and racial groups; racial, ethnic, and sex equity issues; multicultural education; curriculum and instruction for urban students;  urban classroom and school organization; the relationship of urban schools to their communities; ways that public and policies can affect urban education; and the social and economic conditions of urban life."

 
ERIC Clearinghouse for Social Studies/Social Science Education
"ERIC/ChESS monitors the literature and developments in and publishes materials on the teaching and learning of:   history, economics, civic education, geography,  art, music, and architecture as related to the fine arts, anthropology and archaeology,  law, philosophy and political science, social psychology, sociology, ethnic heritage, gender equity, aging, social bias/discrimination, values education: social aspects of environmental education and sex education, international education, comparative education, and cross-cultural studies in all subject areas (K-12),  application of learning theory, curriculum development, and instructional theory to social studies and social science education, research and development projects in the social studies/social sciences, the content of the social science disciplines."

 
ERIC Clearinghouse on Elementary and Early Childhood Education
"ERIC/EECE contributes to the database in the areas of child development, the education and care of

children from birth through early adolescence, the teaching of young children, and parenting and
family life."

ERIC Clearinghouse on Disabilities and Gifted Education

ERIC EC gathers and disseminates the professional literature, information, and resources on the education and development of individuals of all ages who have disabilities and/or who are gifted.

ERIC Clearinghouse on Languages and Linguistics
