http://www.monarchwatch.org/-Monarch Watch
Monarch Watch is a collaborative network of students, teachers, volunteers and researchers dedicated to the study of the Monarch butterfly, Danaus plexippus. The Monarch is a charismatic insect that captures the imagination of children and adults alike. Students involved in tagging and rearing Monarchs actively
participate in "real" science. As we have explored the migration with the help of hundreds of volunteers,
the findings have generated more questions than answers. These questions
have led to further cooperative projects such as life history studies,
flight vector analysis, butterfly gardening and to our current endeavor
to develop a K-12 science curriculum based on the Monarch butterfly.
