What was all that time for? |
SIFT Students realized early on that althought the sift program was
going to be fun, it wasn't without its fair share of work. What you will
see here is a few pictures from in class assignments given to SIFT students.
Model of a Positive Learning Environment
Assignment: Create A Positive learning environment and present
it in from of the rest of the SIFT Students. Must plan desk layout, expectations,
rules, etc. Each students is given an amount of students, plus a unique
number of students with special needs(IE: Hearing difficulties, Learning
Disabilities, Eye problems, etc). Students had to plan a classroom with
special seating as to give ample attention to students that have special
needs.
A Students observed as their peers presented a variety of plans, from 3D projects to layouts done on poster boards. |
Students Created both 3D models as well as 2D drawings. All required thought and consideration. |
Somes students created keys and to scale maps to plan out their classroom. No one needed to be a professional artist, they just needed a little effort (and in some cases, a lot of glue). |
Students then Presented their "Positive Learning Environments" to their peers in small groups. |
