Purpose
This course is designed for students who are considering education as a major and ultimately teaching as a profession.  Students will have an opportunity to experience early childhood, elementary, and middle level education through various field placements.  These experiences are intended to help students in selecting an appropriate education major and teaching grade level of preference.  Students will obtain a systematic body of knowledge from which they can develop a repertoire of teaching practices to meet the learning needs of students with diverse learning styles, developmental needs, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
