Position Announcement from the State Department of Education - Hilary Freedman
"The job posting for the project director for the Title II state grant
is
available. Some of you may have received it in the mail; it is
also
available on the Department's web site (http://www.state.ct.us/sde/jobs/certaec.htm)
in "Job Opportunities" as an Associate Education consultant.
Closing date -
December 17, 1999. As you know this is a very important
position since
the person will be working for the next three years with all of the
preparation programs in Connecticut as they prepare for the regulations
which take effect in 2003 and require that graduates are able to demonstrate
competencies in certain areas.
I am writing to ask for your help. Please read the posting and
refer it to
colleagues, within Connecticut or outside of the state, who might be
interested in applying. There is a strong possibility that once
the
three-year period ends, the person would be able to remain at the Department
in a different position, depending upon vacancies that might occur.
My best to all of you for a happy holiday season,
Hilary"
