End of the Semester Tasks

1. Please send David, via email (when it returns) or on a disk in WORD, information for the 1999-2000 academic year on

• the workshops you attended,
• conference you presented at,
• school-university collaborations you were involved in, and
• scholarly activities and awards you achieved this year.

2) Please review and comment on the following informational items placed in your mailbox on Friday, 5/5 -

a) Elementary Certification/Master of Science in Elementary Education Plan of Study Form - particularly for the EMSRLA Unit meeting on May 18, 12:30

b) Draft of the May 4, 2000 Faculty Meeting Minutes

c) Teacher Education Faculty Council Meeting Minutes of 3/28/00

Also, please complete

1. the Application for Reassigned Time for Research to use to request time for PDS activities during Academic Year 2000-2001 and
2. the Education Department Chair Evaluation Form for the 1999 -2000 academic year.

Please let David know if you would like to teach an Intersession 2001 course. Our schedule is due on May 19.

The Women's Center has asked the Education Department to serve as a co-sponsor (no funding necessary) for an University Hour on "Understanding Gender Communication Patterns." Please let David know if you have any objections or other comments.
