Please see the sign up list below.

Our last meeting of the semester is on Thursday December 14th at 3:30-4:30 in WH 115.

Suggested meeting time for next semester is Monday at 3pm.  Please email me and let me know what you think about this time.

We will be looking for new officers, REALLY looking next semester so please see Jessica if you are interested in an officer's position.

Internship Opportunities

A Message from Daniel Sterner at 860-465-5577, email: sternerd@easternct.edu

"This message is about an America Reads Training session to be held next Tuesday, December 5 at 5:00 PM in Room 205.  The session will last about 2 hours.  Students will be introduced to the program and to the tutoring methods they will be using.

The America Reads program places Eastern students in local schools and day care centers to tutor children, grades K-6.  Tutoring is usually one-on-one, at least two hours a week.  Federal Work Study students can earn $7 an hour.  Student volunteers are also welcome.

If you could pass the word on to any students you know who might be interestred, it would be greatly appreciated.  Students who are not sure they can commit to the pogram, but still want to learn more about it are also welcome.  If you or any interested students have questions, feel free to call Daniel Sterner at X55577.

Thank You."
