Connecticut Education Association Student Program Chapter - Education Club
Events and Announcements

Proposed Agenda
Education Club
Agenda for Thursday November 16, 2000
WH 115 3:30-4:00pm

? Call Meeting to Order (Jessica)
? Motion to Open (Rachel)
? Approval of minutes
? Report from Rachel (Treasurer's report)
? Dues and information update
? Confirm two fundraiser dates (who can help work them)
? Cart Game
? The Cart raffle cannot be a raffle because of restrictions from the state.  However we can do something like this:
Put pencils (or some other thing - not candy) in the top part of the cart.  For a dollar have people guess how many pencils are in the cart.  Later that day we see who is the closest (actually we can just draw a name) and that person wins the cart.  We have been giving people the option to donate the cart to a school if they would to support the education club but do not want the cart.  This idea has been approved the University. So as you can see this is similar enough.
? Bake sale

? Candy Gram Fundraiser
? Date/time
? Announcements
? Proposal from Julie Alexandrin was declined by the group last meeting an email was sent to Julie and Club members reflecting that decision
? People interested in becoming officers next year?
? See Jessica re: expectations and what you can do now to prepare for these positions
? Discussion (if time)
? Availability for next semester, good time for meetings.
? Motion to Close (Lynne)
