"We are the Project Managers for the Connecticut Charter Schools Network.
As
part of our outreach efforts this year, we are interested in addressing
students and faculty from education departments around the state to
answer
questions about the charter schools in Connecticut, to present information
about the charter school movement both in this state and nationally,
and to
answer some of the common questions about charter schools (How are
charter
schools funded? How do they differ from other public schools?
How do they
differ from vouchers?).
We would very much appreciate an opportunity to speak with interested
students and faculty at Eastern Connecticut State.
We can also bring or
send a packet of printed information, and our website
(www.ctcharterschools.org) provides some basic information as well.
Please feel free to contact us, via email or phone, at your earliest
convenience -- or we will call you within the next week. We look
forward to
speaking with you."
