1) Upcoming Events

a) NEASC Assessment Conference, Friday, April 28
David has reserved a car that will leave at 7:30 am from the Heating Plant for the start of the meeting at 8:30
and will return by 3:15 pm.  Please let David know if you are interested in attending.

b) Education Department Faculty meeting, Thursday, May 4, 12:30 - 1:45, WH 115
Please submit agenda items to David.

Pre-meeting workshop

Barbara Aber from Adtech, the company from whom we bought the projector, will be here on  Thursday, May 4, 11:30 - 12:25 in WH 115 to demonstrate the finer workings of the projector.  Please bring your laptops for a lesson on setting them up for use with the projector.

Please prepare for our Spring 2000 faculty photos for publications on paper and on the web.

Some agenda items will include -

Approval of March and April Meeting Minutes

Reports for Units and Committees - including

    discussion of  incomplete policy for student teaching

    report on BEST Program Assessment meeting (4/14)

Planning for closing events - graduation ceremony

c) PDS Forum:  Assessing Our Progress.  Wednesday, May 24, Cromwell.
Please let David know if you wish to attend so that we might get the registration paid for prior to the conference.  David has reserved a car that will leave at 7:00 am from the Heating Plant for the start of the meeting at 8:00 and will return by 4 pm.

2) Mary Ann Martin Sines nominated by Ed. Dept. for Graduate Student Marshall

The Education Department at our April 6 faculty member nominated Mary Ann Martin Sines for Graduate Student Marshall at Commencement 2000.
