1) Upcoming Events

a) What Beginning Educators Need to Know About Student Testing in Connecticut, April 12, 2000, ACES.  Sessions on the CT Mastery Tests and CAPT.
David has reserved a car that will leave at 7:30 am from the Heating Plant for the start of the meeting at 8:30 and will return by 1:15 pm.  Please let David know if you are interested in attending.

b) Conference on Designing Performance Based Assessment Tasks and Systems for Teacher Preparation Program Accreditiation, Friday, April 14, 8:30 am to 4 pm, Institute for Industrial and Engineering Technology, CCSU, 185 Main St., New Britain.  David has reserved a car that will leave at 7:30 am from the Heating Plant for the start of the meeting at 8:30 and will return by 5 pm.

c) Academic Computing Conference, Saturday, April 15, 8:30 am - 3 pm, CCSU, New Britain.
David has reserved a car and will be leaving from ECSU at 7:30 am from the Heating Plant.

d) Spring Reception for Admitted Students - Sunday, April 16, 2000.
Please join Amy and David in orientation sessions for admitted students for our class of 2004.  Please let David know if you are interested in attending.

2) Mary Ann Martin Sines nominated by Ed. Dept. for Graduate Student Marshall

The Education Department at our April 6 faculty member nominated Mary Ann Martin Sines for Graduate Student Marshall at Commencement 2000.
