Objective: To develop the students logical reasoning and critical thinking skills, and to familarize the students with the E-Mail system.
Procedure: The students will have to independently check their E-Mail accounts to check for clues in an on going mystery. The teacher will leave two clues weekly randomly. By randomly leaving the clues the students should be compelled to check the E-Mail messages regularly. The students may work independently,
but should be encouraged to work in pairs on solving the message. The mystery can be criminal type case (who done it), or a riddle of sorts where the student will be forced to use their research skills to determine what the clues mean.Incentives and relevance is up to the teacher as they know their students best. However it is recommended that the teacher utilize both incentives and
relevance as the students will have to do much of the work independently.
