Boston

* First thing that you should know is that I grew up on the North Shore of Boston Ma. Although, I now live two hours away from the city, I try to go there often. Looking for something to do in Boston? At this site, you can obtain information on restaurants, bars, sports, shopping, and the theatre. It also includes a visitor’s guide.

* While growing up so close to Boston, I became a big fan of all the Boston Sports Teams.

Here are the top four questions about sports in Boston.

1. Will the Boston Red Sox ever break the curse of the Bambino?

FENWAY PARK

2. Why did the New England Patriots let Bill Parcels go!

3. Will the Boston Celtics ever be re-built?

4. Hey-How many ties do the Boston Bruins have

-Here is a summary of my life as a student

*While playing division III football at Bridgewater State College, I obtained a degree in Physical Education, and concentrated in Athletic Training. After graduating, I decided to take classes at North Shore Community College and at Gateway Community Technical College. This was an inexpensive place to take several requirements for Physician Assistant School. Nevertheless, I ended up changing my mind, and accepted a graduate position at Rider University where I completed the MBA program. While at Rider, I took two classes through the University of Mississippi’s British Studies program in London. While in London I studied International Insurance. Why Insurance, I have no idea! However, I did receive six credits, experience living in London, and drink a lot of beer in the Pubs. After attending Rider I reconsidered going back to PA school, so I took organic chemistry class at a nearby community college (Tunxis Community Technical College). I bet it will not surprise you that I ended up at Eastern Connecticut State University to become a certified elementary school teacher.

-My work experience as an Athletic Trainer

*I became a certified athletic trainer through the National Athletic Trainer's Association in 1993. I was first hired to manage the injuries of the athletes at Mount Ida College. I was being paid close to nothing, so I decided to take a graduate assistant position to work with the Rider Broncs, small Division I University in NJ. Today I am working as an athletic trainer in a high school and clinic for HEALTHSOUTH. HEALTHSOUTH is currently the largest employer of Athletic Trainers in the country. Unfortunately, there is very little room for advancement and the pay is terrible, and that is one of the reasons i am still a college student.

*Here are some good places to grab some chicken salad.
