Lowell National Historical Park

 

Lowell National Historical Park Lowell National Historical Park preserves and interprets the history of the American Industrial Revolution in Lowell, Massachusetts. The park includes historic cotton textile mills, 5.6 miles of canals, operating gatehouses, and worker housing. Turn-of-the-century trolleys operate, and boat tours trace the city's canals.

This is the home page of the
Old Sturbridge Village Living Museum in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.   The pages include photographs of buildings and other locations at the Museum and text that describes the typical family that would live in the houses and the way the farms, mills, shops, and offices would have been owned and run.  A very appropriate site for elementary and middle school students.

This museum interprets the experience of working people in
