    A Curriculum Plan for Developing Collaborative Online Projects Using the ThinkQuest for Tomorrow’s Teachers Project Resources

Learning Outcomes:

From the Connecticut Common Core of Teaching –

   5.Teachers use effective verbal, nonverbal and media communications techniques which foster individual and collaborative inquiry. (CCCT)

From the Connecticut Teacher Technology Competencies

E. Teachers use technologies to support student centered learning strategies for all students. (CTTC) 

From the ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) National Educational Technology Standards (NETS) and Performance Indicators for the Educational Technology Foundations for All Teachers

B. Teachers use technology to support learner-centered strategies that address the diverse needs of students. (ISTE)

Curricular Goal:

Teacher candidates will form learning communities to develop online resources to support a Field Project – linking a community outside the classroom with this website, a K-12 Curriculum Materials Project – a website providing classroom resources to enhance a unit of study, or a Materials for Teacher Preparation – a website for teacher professional development.
