Mission Statement

      

The Center for Educational Excellence promotes excellence in teaching and learning at Eastern Connecticut State University and in the Connecticut State University System (CSU). Special emphasis is placed on providing technology training and teaching workshops, administering the First-Year Program, which is ECSU’s program for First-Year students, supporting appropriate initiatives undertaken by faculty, and promoting service learning. The Center also provides orientation and mentoring programs for new faculty.
