Step 5: Conduct Job Search Activities

Connect with Full Time Job Opportunities:
- Have your resume, cover letters, or personal statement critiqued: Even if critiqued earlier, your materials should be updated and as professional as possible.
- Have a practice interview videotaped and critiqued
- Attend job fairs.
- Participate in Career Services' on-campus interview program. Registration and sign-up deadlines are early in the fall and spring semesters.
- Visit the Job Listing section listed on our home page for current listings.
- Visit the Career Services office to review newsletters and flyers.
- Identify Job vacancies using national data bases on the World Wide Web. Consider subscribing to internet discussion groups related to your career.
- Learn to research and network to uncover job leads. Remember that most jobs are NOT publicly advertised. Staff in the Career Services office can teach you these necessary job search skills
