Short biography
Dr. Scott worked as a practitioner in Human Resources
Management for 13 years before becoming an academic in the field in 1991.
Her practitioner experience includes management and supervision of HR
staff as well as specialist positions in Employee Relations, Recruitment
and Selection, and Equal Employment Opportunity. She is a member of the
Academy of Management, the International Association for Business and
Society, the Society for Business Ethics, and the Industrial Relations
Research Association.
Teaching interests:
Dr. Scott’s
teaching interests are in the fields of Ethics, Human Resources
Management, Organizational Behavior, and Decision-Making.
Research areas:
Dr. Scott’s
research on honesty, prejudice, moral values, and employee-organization
fit has been published in Business & Society, the Business Ethics
Quarterly, Teaching Business Ethics, and the Journal of Personality and
Social Psychology.
