Managing and tracking individual product items and monitoring their condition seamlessly within and between organizations and consumers, promises to save billions of dollars through everything from streamlined processes , reduced inventories to no more spoiled milk!

 

RFID seems to be a “panacean” solution, but:

 

  • For which contexts is it best suited and cost effective?
  • What are its limitations?
  • Who owns the information especially if the RFID tag is in you?
