Lycopodium is an evergreen plant that is older that its size might indicate. It is also known by common names including Princess Pine, Running Pine, and Club Moss. This plant is neither a pine nor a moss but, if it is part of a biological club, it is most closely associated with ferns! Some individuals will show a small cone-like object known as a strobilus from which this plant reproduces by means of spores.
