Student Intervention Team
Eastern Connecticut State University’s Student Intervention Team is an interdisciplinary team that works to address safety concerns through the coordination of resources and early intervention in order to provide the Eastern community with a safe and secure learning environment.
The mission of the Student Intervention Team is to evaluate and address student behavior that is perceived to be harmful, threatening or disruptive to the student, to others, or both and to pursue an appropriate course of action.
- To provide proactive, early intervention by supporting students directly and through consultation with different departments.
- To coordinate resources and follow-up to ensure comprehensive response and care.
- To balance the individual needs of the student and those of the greater campus community.
