Applying for Part Time Admission

To apply for admission as a part-time student (less than 12 credits a semester), applicants must submit the following information to the Office of Admissions:

You can apply online, which is easy and fast. You will need a credit card to pay the $50.00 non-refundable application fee.

In the in event, you are applying for readmission you do not pay the $50 again, and here is the information for Readmission.

Please, mail in the following documents to complete your application:

    Your official high school and college (stamped with raised university seal) transcript(s) to be sent directly to:

    Office of Admissions

    If applicable, please request official CLEP/DSST transcript(s) or military documentation.

  • Personal essay of up to 500 words (optional) or copy of résumé (if available). The essay should provide additional information about your request for admission, describe your interest in Eastern or explain your prior academic performance.
  • All part time students applying for admission must fulfill the university's health requirements. Part Time students must submit evidence of measles (rubeola), German measles (rubella), and the tuberculosis risk assessment. All part time students need to complete the Tuberculosis Risk Assessment and provide documentation of TB risk. Part time students will need to fill out and return this form to the health services.
