Fun Mud Day

at the Child and Family Development Resource Center

“Fun Mud Day” is an annual event at Eastern’s Child and Family Development Resource Center (CFDRC) that challenges preschoolers and toddlers to get outside and try a variety of wet and muddy obstacles that they might not otherwise encounter. These strength-building activities help children develop gross motor skills and build competence and confidence. Physical education professor Darren Robert organizes the event, engaging his physical education students as volunteers. Teachers and families participate with children in this fun event.
