Student: Claire Fryer, '12

 

Major: Sociology and Early Childhood Education

 

Experience: Claire Fryer worked as a research assistant from Fall 2010 to Spring 2011 on a study looking at the relationship between teacher-child play interactions and children's mathematical abilities. She was responsible for administering a math assessment (TEMA-3), videotaping teacher-child interactions, and coding videos using a faculty-developed instrument.
